    The EKE 1300 and 1301 Constant Head Permeability Set are used to study the behavior or soil, relatively coarse- grained soil such as standard gravel, in its natural conditions with respect to  water flow.

    Two Models are available according to cell dimensions, Three cells have an acrylic glass body with 3 pressure points at different level.

    EKE 105 stand is fitted with 3 glass manometer tubes each being 1000 mm long

    EKE 1308 Constant Level Tank 7 L, made of transparent plastic, is used to provide constant water level in the manometer tubes.

    Optional Equipment For De- Airing Water and Tamping Rod Should be ordered separately

    The EKE 1320 Falling Head Permeability Set is used to study the behavior of soil, particularly fine-grained soils such as clay-like or silty  soils, with respect to water flow.

    The EKE 1322 Falling Head Permeability Cell is manufactured from plated steel with an inside diameter of 100 mm

    The EKE 1324 Wooden Stand is fitted  with 4 glass Manometer Tubes of each 1500 mm long with inside diameters of about 21 mm, 12 mm, 5 mm and 3.5 mm. all tubes have connection valves

    The EKE 1326 Soaking Reservoir Tank is manufactured from plated steel with an over-flow tube and is used for containing the permeability cell during the test.

    The instrument consists of a needle attached to a spring loaded  plunger , the stem of which is calibrated to read 0 to 40 kg division. Long stem is gradated at every 12.5 mm to read depth of penetration and for use with needles of larger areas. The small penetration stem is also graduation in 12.5 mm

    EKE 165:

    The instrument consists of a needle attached to a spring loaded  plunger , the stem of which is calibrated to read 0 to 40 kg division. Long stem is gradated at every 12.5 mm to read depth of penetration and for use with needles of larger areas. The small penetration stem is also graduation in 12.5 mm

    The penetration pressure on the needle is conveyed through a hydraulic system to a hydraulic pressure gauge. The system permits a greater control over rate of penetration because of better  visibility of load indication on the gauge.

    Comprises  hydraulic proctor needle system complete with a pressure gauge fixed at easily readable angle reading 0-70 kg x 2 kg. A set of needle points is supplied as a part of standard supply.

    EKE 166:

    This instrument is used to estimate approximate unconfined compressive strength and the estimation to shear strength of soil. Cohesive soils can also classified in terms of consistency using this penetrometer. This is a handy and convenient instrument.

    It consists of a light weight barrel assembly with a polished and ground steel loading piston plunger. A direct reading scales is engraved on the piston barrel and indicates in kg/sq. cm. A maximum load indicator ring is provided on the penetration.

    Water flowing through fine- grained soils with high sodium content makes them highly erodible.

    The EKE 1500  Pinhole Test Apparatus is used for evaluating the erodibility of clay soils by flowing water through a small hole that is drilled through the compacted specimen.

    The apparatus consists of  a cylindrical metal container fitted one end with a water inlet and the other end with outlet connection, a standpipe tube with scale and a stand or support the apparatus
